
Heather Henyon
CEO / Founder
Heather Henyon is CEO and Founder of Vermont Wild FC, helping bring high-level women’s soccer back to southern Vermont through the Women’s Premier Soccer League. She also serves on the board of Vermont Fusion, supporting the continued growth of youth soccer in the region.
Beyond the pitch, Henyon is an internationally recognized venture investor and entrepreneur. She is the Founding Partner of Mindshift Capital, a Dubai-based venture fund that invests in early-stage technology companies led by women, and the founder of the Women’s Angel Investor Network (WAIN), the first and largest women’s angel investor group in the Middle East.
Henyon has made more than 100 direct and fund investments across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, and has spent more than two decades working in finance, technology, and strategy in emerging markets. Her career includes roles on Wall Street and serving as founding CEO of Grameen-Jameel Microfinance Ltd.
She serves on several investment committees and international company boards, including Sekem Holding Group, where she chairs the Risk & Audit Committee, as well as Sarwa, Little Thinking Minds, NeedsList, and Localized. She has also served on the jury for the Cartier Women’s Initiative MENA.
Henyon holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Management, where she was a Park Leadership Fellow, and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Oberlin College.
