The Legacy

Vermont Wild Football Club carries forward the legacy of Vermont Fusion, one of the Northeast’s most successful programs in the Women’s Premier Soccer League. Founded by Heather Henyon, the Wild continues that tradition — bringing high-level women’s soccer back to southern Vermont.

Where We Come From

Vermont Wild competes in the Northeast Division of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL).

Each summer, players from elite collegiate and competitive programs return to Vermont to compete at the highest amateur level.

The Philosophy

Our home is Applejack Stadium in Manchester, Vermont — one of the most remarkable natural grass fields in the state.

Surrounded by mountains and open sky, it’s the kind of place the game deserves.

Freedom Is Our Field

At Vermont Wild, the game belongs to the players.

Your wild isn’t nature. It’s the human spirit — ungoverned, alive, and authentic.

Here, players compete without apology. Creativity is encouraged. Individuality is celebrated.

Vermont Spirit

Vermont believes in independence, community, and the freedom to be yourself.

The Wild reflects that belief.
Everyone deserves space to move, breathe, and belong.
